Please refer to the letter below for a brief update as well as the Treasurer's Deed Process document outlining the new process. This legislative change not only affects the Treasurer's Office, but all parties tied to the deed process. This includes our software vendor that facilitates all deed process functions.
We will not be accepting applications for treasurer’s deeds until our software vendor is fully operational.
Notification for when applications will be open will be given on our website.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward.
Letter from County Treasurer Regarding Treasurer's Deed Process
Effective March 20, 2023 the Treasurer's Office will no longer accept credit card payments for tax redemptions. Only certified funds or cash in-person will be accepted for all redemption payments. Redeemers have until 12:00 PM (Noon) the day of deed issuance to pay all fees due. Endorsements can only be paid by Check, Money Order, or Cash due to a change in credit card payment service providers.
